September: Los Angeles/October: Paris, France

Position Sports was on hand this fall to help execute two major events in separate major cities celebrating Nike’s new presence and the new technology it brings with it:

Los Angeles,

This event was held on a movie lot. 30 NBA players - one from each team- emerged from backstage in dark hoodies and at the same moment unveiled the new Nike connect jerseys for each respective team. The 600 guests in attendance hailed from five continents and after the unveil were treated to a raucous live performance by Travis Scott. Fans from around the world watched via Facebook Live and NBA-TV.

Paris,

This event was held in a newly re-vamped gym in the 19th Arrondissement. It consisted of 2 days of basketball for the whole community: clinics, tournaments, and entertainment. Some highlights included an extended visit from Kobe Bryant and an exclusive dinner hosted by Ricardo Tisci. The event catered to 300 Parisian basketball players of all ages and over 4,000 visitors.   Two unapologetic events. Two different continents. One same objective: Impact the basketball community through new technologies, unveil re-designed products, and connect athletes and their fans.
