Position Sports is retained by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. to handle media relations for all of its events throughout the year.
Each year the annual Hoophall Classic is held at Springfield College’s Blake Arena over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend and attracts numerous elite teams and players from across the country. Over 45 teams hailing from as many as 15 states compete each year with numerous teams ranked in the Top 25 Nationally. ESPN Networks annually broadcasts multiple live games throughout the five day event.
In 2019, Position Sports was tasked with increasing Eastbay brand awareness among athletes participating in Hoophall Classic. This was done by designing two elite players lounges for the athletes to use post game. In both player lounges, athletes were gifted their action photos from the tournament games, as well as recovery equipment for their use.
