On January 11th, the collaboration with Nike continued as Position Sports assisted in the production of a SNKRS pop-up for the Elite Invitational Basketball Tournament featuring Sierra Canyon and Rancho Christian. In partnership with SNKRS, Position Sports managed execution of activation areas at Pasadena City College for fans featuring two claw machines, a Paul George branded photo opportunity, and a Stash Drop allowing 50 lucky people with the SNKRS app to win a free pair of Gatorade PG4s.
2020 is here and Position Sports is already off to a busy year! Alongside Nike on January 7th, we helped to unveil the PG4 - Paul George’s latest shoe - at the iconic Trinity Auditorium in Los Angeles. Paul’s alma mater Knight High School, LA basketball community groups and media members were invited to experience an NBA 2k Lounge, a Gatorade sweat patch trial, and of course a trialing of the PG4.
As one of the last events of 2019, Jordan Brand and Position Sports joined forces to manage the unveiling of Russell Westbrook’s WNZ.3 shoe at Jumpman by Footaction in the heart of LA. The multifaceted affair welcomed media members for a wear test and over 200 youth from around the city for a workshop held with the WNZ.3 shoe designers and a live Q&A with Westbrook. The rooftop was transformed into a branded 3v3 regulation size court, hosting six teams to compete in a round robin tournament in front of spectators and Westbrook himself.
