Jordan Brand Classic names MVPS from Croatia

10 Players Selected to Travel to the United States

ZAGREB, CROATIA (March 9, 2015) - Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc., hosted its ninth annual Jordan Brand Classic International Camp from March 6-8 at Cedevita Training Center featuring the top 16-and-under basketball talent from around Europe. The purpose of the camp was to select 10 participants who will compete in the International Game at the Jordan Brand Classic in Brooklyn, New York at Barclays Center on April 17.  

Jordan Brand invited 40 of the top European prospects from 21 different countries for a three-day training camp to identify the top international youth players. The camp features both basketball and strength and conditioning sessions with all of the sessions are geared toward teaching the athletes how to improve their skills to compete at the next level.    

The camp culminated with an All-Star game at Drazen Petrovic Arena. The event concluded with the announcement of the camp’s 10 Most Valuable Players who have been invited to travel to New York to play in the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic International Game next month. The International Game roster will be rounded out with ten additional players selected from other regions of the world.  

This year’s European MVP selections include: Darko Bajo (Croatia), Onuralp Bitim (Turkey), Philip Herkenhoff (Germany), Jaylen Hoard (France), Antonio Jordano (Croatia), Nikola Miskovic (Serbia), Dimitrios Moraitis (Greece), Yves Pons (France), Lang McCarthy Santos (Spain), Njegos Sikiras (Bosnia & Herzegovina).  

These players join a prestigious list of former Jordan Brand Classic International Game participants including Enes Kanter (Turkey), Jonas Valančiūnas (Lithuania), Nikola Mirotic (Spain) and Marko Arapovic (Croatia).
