Registration now available for USA Basketball Fantasy Camp hosted at UNLV and Wynn Las Vegas

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Some of the biggest names in coaching will join together for the second annual USA Basketball Fantasy Camp from July 30-August 1 in Las Vegas to give basketball enthusiasts the experience of being a member of the USA National Team.

Participants will have three full days of intense on-court action at UNLV’s Mendenhall Center and receive hands-on instruction and coaching from the likes of Kentucky’s John Calipari, Gonzaga’s Mark Few, Grand Canyon’s Dan Majerle, Arizona’s Sean Miller, Washington’s Lorenzo Romar, Georgetown’s John Thompson III and Villanova’s Jay Wright. Jay Bilas (ESPN) and Bill Raftery (CBS Sports) will serve as commissioners, while former Dream Team assistant and ESPN analyst P.J. Carlesimo serves as the host.

“This is the opportunity for those with a strong passion for basketball to know what it feels like to represent your country and form a relationship with others who also love the game,” said Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball chairman.  “These participants will have an inside view of our National Team participants as they prepare for the FIBA World Cup, while at the same time receiving coaching from many of the greatest minds in college basketball.”

In the inaugural year, campers joined the USA Basketball National Team members as guests at the famous Wynn Hotel. They received coaching and instruction from many of the top names in basketball, access to the National Team practices, a special social event at Tryst Nightclub, an exclusive USA Basketball Nike apparel and footwear product package and had the opportunity to attend the USA Basketball Showcase at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Fantasy Camp registrants must be at least 35 years or older to participate.  Rooms, meals and ground transportation will be provided as part of the event.
